Welcome to Derek Duggan's kitchen, a proud collector and antiques enthusiast whose collection, discovered in his Regency apartment along Brighton seafront, is due to be sold at Bellmans Auctioneers on 14th April.

Contained within a Victorian oak bookcase cabinet were the vast majority of the 288 Staffordshire figures amassed by Derek over the course of his life.

This large collection of mostly Victorian figures includes The Duke of Wellington, Napoleon, Crimea War figures, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Albert and Victoria, zebra, ewes, rabbits, lions, leopards, greyhounds and spaniels.

Split into 73 lots, the collection is so vast that we have a dedicated section of the Single Owner Sale entitled 'The Staffordshire Collection'. Starting at 1pm on 14th April, the figures will go under the hammer at Bellmans.
